Consul-General Fukushima visited Congressman Cooper on February 19th

Consul-General Fukushima visited U.S. Congressman Jim Cooper on February 19th.
 During their meeting, the Consul-General emhasized the importance of Japanese companies to the Tennessean economy and introduced various cultural events that create mutual understanding. Consul-General Fukushima asked Congressman Cooper for his continued cooperation in further enhancing the relationship between Japan and United States. Congressman Cooper welcomed Consul-General Fukushima and said that he remains committed to doing his best for the bilateral relationship. Congressman Cooper mentioned his fondness for Japanese foods and pointed out the benefits of the art of paper folding (Origami).
