Consul General Fukushima's appearance at “Nashville Cherry Blossom Conference 2021” Webinar hosted by Austin Peay State University
On April 6, Consul-General Fukushima attended a webinar “Nashville Cherry Blossom Conference 2021”hosted by Austin Peay State University. Students from Austin Peay State University, Prefectural University of Hiroshima and Komatsu University performed presentation with various topics related to Cherry Blossoms. In closing session, President Michael Licari of Austin Peay State University praised the presenters and emphasized the importance of maintaining international connections and the value of continuing to study Japanese and English language. Consul General Fukushima then gave closing remarks, thanking Austin Peay State University for hosting the event, encouraging the students to further study Japanese or English language and make use of language skills for the future career and emphasizing the importance of grass-roots exchange between the students which lies at the foundation of the solid US-Japan relations.
