TPP Business Seminar with JETRO New York (March 15)

On March 15^th, the Consul-General invited Japanese company representatives to the Consul General’s residence for a business seminar to explore the impacts of TPP.
 
The guest speaker, Mr. Wakamatsu, assistant manager of JETRO’s New York office, shared an overview of TPP with Japanese company representatives, as well as ways to capitalize on the agreement’s provisions.  In his presentation, he focused on how the agreement would affect rules of origin for the automotive sector, as well as other aspects.
 
Following the seminar, participants enjoyed lively exchanges during a networking reception.
