Japanese Workshops at the Tennessee Foreign Language Institute

Join the expert Japanese instructors at the Tennessee Foreign Language institute for two language workshops, suitable for Japanese learners at all levels! These workshops are free to attend and all guests will need to bring a photo ID to enter the building.

From 1:00 – 2:00pm, join a beginner’s Japanese lesson, meant for those who have no experience learning Japanese at all!

From 2-3:30pm, learn the basics of Japanese kanji character writing, practice the stroke order, and create and take home a piece of calligraphy art!

From 3:30-5pm, Learn how to type Japanese on electronic devices - learn tips and tricks of using a computer or phone to enhance your Japanese learning experience!
