School Visits Program

The Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville has an exciting educational outreach program offered at no cost.

The objective of this program is to foster an awareness of Japan by bringing information and materials about Japan into classrooms. Towards that end, we dispatch bi-lingual and bi-cultural members of our staff to schools in the Nashville area to give presentations about Japan.

A typical visit to your class may include an overview of Japan and its culture, a short video presentation on current topics related to Japan, or a demonstration and workshop of origami or calligraphy.

School visits may also be performed virtually or via recording.
