Consul-General Kobayashi visited Governor Haslam on June 20th

 Consul-General Kobayashi visited Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam on June 20th.
 During their meeting, Consul-General Kobayashi asked Governor Haslam for his continued cooperation in order to further enhance the relationship between Japan and Tennessee. This cooperation includes support for Japanese residents and Japanese companies, as well as for events organized by the consulate to grow the Japan-Tennessee community. Governor Haslam welcomed Consul-General Kobayashi and said that he remains committed to doing his best for the bilateral relationship, emphasizing the importance of Japan in Tennessee. On this occasion, they also exchanged their views on trade issues and potential repercussions upon the automobile industry in Tennessee.
