Consul-General Kinefuchi attended Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi, LLC opening ceremony at West Point, MS (October 5)
On October 5th, Consul-General Kinefuchi attended the opening ceremony of Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi in WestPoint, Mississippi.
Governor Bryant thanked Yokohama Tire and pointed out that their project will help many local families achieve the American Dream. He hopes this relationship will continue for many years to come because it is a special project that will make our descendants proud.
Consul-General Kinefuchi expressed his gratitude to the support of Yokohama. He also thanked Japanese companies for their contribution to the local economy which are helping Mississippi to be more internationally competitive. Consul-General Kinefuchi also noted that the success of Yokohama Tire will serve as a model case for other companies looking to expand.
