JET Returnee Reception

On March 6, 2024, Consul-General Matsumoto hosted a reception at the Consul-General's official residence in Nashville to welcome participants who had returned to the United States from Japan in 2023 after participating in the JET Program. The reception was attended by approximately 41 people, including JET returnees, current and former executives of the JET Alumni Association, and JET Program interview committee members. Consul-General Matsumoto welcomed the JET Program participants back to Japan and expressed his gratitude to those who have supported the JET Program. The reception also provided an opportunity for the JET Program participants to deepen their friendship with the grassroots community that promotes US-Japan exchange in the region.
