2024 Kentucky Japan Festival

On Saturday, August 3, 2024, the Kentucky Japan Festival was held at Cove Spring Park in Frankfort, Kentucky. The 2024 Kentucky Japan Festival was a day-long celebration of Japanese culture that included taiko and koto performances, Bon Odori dancing, kendo, a cosplay contest, and more. Consul-General Watanabe also participated in the festival. At the Consulate's tent, Japanese culture was introduced through activities such as summer fan making. We hope that this Japan Festival will contribute to the friendship and goodwill between Kentucky and Japan. We look forward to welcoming you again next year.
