Consul-General Watanabe Visits Middle Tennessee State University

On June 12, Consul-General Watanabe visited Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in Murfreesboro, TN. During this visit, Consul-General Watanabe had a meeting with Dr. Robert Summers, Vice Provost for International Affairs followed by a tour of campus. Later, Consul-General Watanabe attended a luncheon hosted by President Sidney McPhee. MTSU offers a Japanese language major in the College of Liberal Arts and offers exchange programs with five Japanese universities. MTSU also has the largest number of alumni participating in the JET Program in our jurisdiction.
