Consul-General Watanabe Attends the Japan-America Society of Tennessee (JAST) Annual Meeting

On June 13, Consul-General Watanabe attended the Japan-America Society of Tennessee (JAST) annual meeting held at the Goalpost Club in Geodis Park. The meeting featured a fireside chat on U.S.-Japan relations, moderated by Christine Karbowiak, former Senior Vice President of Bridgestone Corporation and former JAST Board Chair, with speakers including Senator Bill Hagerty and Paul Nakasone, former Army General and Director of the Vanderbilt University National Security Institute. At the conclusion of the meeting, Consul-General Watanabe delivered a speech, expressing gratitude for JAST's contributions to the development of Japan-Tennessee relations. Approximately 100 JAST members and related parties attended the meeting.
