2025 Spring Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals

On April 29, 2025, the Government of Japan announced the Spring Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals for their outstanding contributions to their respective areas. The Consulate-General of Japan therefore wishes it to be known that the following recipient shall be conferred with the decoration in recognition of his endeavors. The details of the recipient are as follows:
 
The Honorable Clay Jackson
・Former Co-Chair of the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival Advisory Council
 
Hon. Clay Jackson has been awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” for his contributions to introducing Japanese culture to the United States and promoting friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and the United States.
