On September 24th, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan announced that the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation was awarded to the following individuals for their contributions as described below.
Ms. Mina Johnson, Former President, Sister Cities of Nashville (Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.)
In recognition of mutual understanding between sister cities.
