2026 Arkansas Cherry Blossom Festival in Hot Springs, Arkansas

On Saturday, April 4, the Arkansas Cherry Blossom Festival was held at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Consul-General Watanabe welcomed attendees in his opening remarks, highlighting the active exchanges between Japan and Arkansas.
The event featured a variety of performances on stage, including traditional Japanese taiko drums, samurai sword demonstrations, kendo, and aikido. Nearby, Japanese international students hosted a mochi-pounding event, and numerous booths introduced various aspects of Japanese culture to many visitors.
