Deputy Consul-General Yamasaki attends API Clarksville Celebration

On Saturday, May 9, Deputy Consul-General Yamasaki attended the 2026 API Clarksville Celebration held in Clarksville, Tennessee. At the venue, cultural booths representing countries from the Asia-Pacific region were set up, and Japanese culture was introduced by students studying Japanese at Austin Peay State University as well as local Japanese residents. In addition, during the stage performances by participating countries, members of the local Japanese community joined together to perform bon odori, a traditional Japanese dance.
