Visit to Currey Ingram Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee

On Wednesday, March 4, the Cultural Section of the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville visited the Currey Ingram Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee, to introduce Japanese calligraphy and origami to a group of high school students. All students enjoyed learning about Japan and the exchanges between Japan and Tennessee, as well as folding origami and writing kanji characters using brushes and calligraphy ink for the first time. They also asked many questions about Japanese food culture and anime.
