Business Seminar (July 22)

On Wednesday, July 22, the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville, in cooperation with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Atlanta Office, co-hosted a business seminar for representatives of Japanese companies in its consular jurisdiction with Barnes & Thornburg, The MJ Companies, and Michiki Morgan Worldwide.
Following opening remarks by Consul-General Shinji Watanabe and JETRO Atlanta Executive Director Toshio Kii, four experts delivered presentations on three key topics: 1) human resources, organizational management, and localization challenges; 2) employee benefits and compensation strategies; and 3) employment law and legal risk management.
The seminar featured an active Q&A session, during which participants discussed practical measures for mitigating legal risks and other issues. The event concluded with a networking reception, where representatives of Japanese companies exchanged ideas and experiences, making for a highly productive and informative seminar.
