Business Seminar for Japanese Companies in the United States (March 19)

On March 19, Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville, in co-hosting with JETRO Atlanta and with the support of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, held a business seminar for representatives of Japanese companies in our jurisdiction.

Following the opening remarks by Consul-General Watanabe, Mr. Nobuhiro Nakajima, Director of the JETRO Mexico Office, delivered a presentation on “Trends in Nearshoring - with a focus on the automotive industry - and the Economic Policies of the New Administration.” His presentation provided insightful data and analysis on Mexico’s current situation and future outlook, offering valuable perspectives for Japanese companies as they consider their future supply chain strategies. Attendees listened attentively to the presentation.
