Japan Foundation Grant Presentation Ceremony at Fisk University

On Tuesday, November 19, Consul-General Watanabe visited Fisk University in Nashville to attend the Japan Foundation “Salary Assistance Grant for Japanese-Language Courses” presentation ceremony and presented a check of $20,000 to President Agenia Walker Clark. The grant will be used for Japanese language education at Fisk University. The presentation ceremony was held at the Carl Van Vechten Gallery on the campus of Fisk University and was attended by Provost Robert Carr, university officials, the Japanese language instructor, and students.
