Join organizations all over Nashville as they host events dedicated to Japan and the Cherry Blossom Tree! Many events this year will be held online, with others held outdoors using safe social distancing guidelines. Please see below calendar for more information on each event.

- Explore a unique way to heal your mind, body, and spirit in nature through Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing. These slow, gentle walks feature accessible, sensory activities that encourage participants to deepen their connection to the natural world. Advance registration required.

- Can't gather downtown for Nashville's Cherry Blossom Festival of Japanese culture? Don't despair! Belmont is hosting its own virtual event...with beautiful music by Nozomi Takasu, a Calligraphic artistry workshop led by Dr. Christopher Born (BU Asian Studies & Japanese Language), and informative conversation led by Dr. Cindy Bisson (BU History & Japan Studies).
