Consul-General Watanabe Attends Asian Pacific Islander Celebration 2024

Consul-General Watanabe attended the Asian Pacific Islander Celebration 2024 in Clarksville, TN on May 10, 2024. Prior to the event, Consul-General Watanabe paid a courtesy call on Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts, and then joined the event together with Mayor Pitts to deliver remarks. The event featured cultural exhibits, performances, and cuisine from Asia-Pacific countries and regions, including Japan. The event also featured a kimono dressing demonstration and a taiko performance by the Nashville Taiko drumming group.
