Consul-General Watanabe Attends Nashville Bonsai Society 50th Anniversary Ceremony






On Saturday, May 17, Consul-General Watanabe attended the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Nashville Bonsai Association held at the Frist Museum of Art in Nashville. Consul-General Watanabe congratulated the Nashville Bonsai Association on its 50th anniversary and expressed his congratulations to the inductees of the Legacy Collection (bonsai trees over 50 years old). The Nashville Bonsai Association has been active in Nashville for half a century and has collaborated with the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville on various events, including the display of bonsai at the Emperor's Birthday Celebration Reception hosted by the Consulate- General of Japan in Nashville, and having a bonsai exhibition at the Cheekwood Moon Viewing Festival co-hosted by the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville and Cheekwood Estate and Garden.
