Knox Asian Festival Best Event Award Celebration

The Knox Asian Festival was recently honored with the Best Event Award (for an event over $75,000) by the South East Festival and Event Association. On Saturday May 4, Consul-General Watanabe attended a celebration of this prestigious award hosted by the Knox Asian Festival Committee. In his remarks, Consul-General Watanabe congratulated the Knox Asian Festival on the award, noting that in 10 years the festival has made a great leap from a small festival with 3,000 participants to a large event with over 75,000 participants last year.
