Consul-General Watanabe visits Eakas Arkansas Corporation

On April 29, Consul-General Watanabe visited Eakas Arkansas Corporation in Wynne, Arkansas. After receiving an overview of the company's business and its outlook, the Consul-General discussed with executives challenges the company is currently facing. They then toured the manufacturing facility.
Eakas Arkansas started operations in 2006, the second Eakas plant to be located in the U.S.. The facility produces exterior door handles for Japanese-affiliated automobile plants in neighboring states and will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year.
