Consul-General Fukushima visited Knoxville City Mayor Indya Kincannon and observed Asian Costume Exhibition

On May 21, Consul-General Kayoko Fukushima paid a courtesy call on Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon and had a discussion on various topics including the safety of the Japanese community and companies in Knoxville as well as the Knoxville-Muroran sister city relationship.
Mayor Kincannon and Consul-General Fukushima toured the “Asian Costume Exhibition” which is currently being held at the Knox County office 6F to celebrate Asian and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month.
The exhibition highlights the visual symbols and meaning of clothing from various countries in Asia. One can view it for free until May 27th. Visit the link to learn more about the exhibit.
