Consul-General Fukushima attended Knoxville Asian Festival Japanese Tea Ceremony

On Saturday August 28th, Consul-General Fukushima attended a Japanese Tea Ceremony hosted by Knoxville Asian Festival which took place at Savage Garden, Knoxville, Tennessee. The Japanese Tea Ceremony was also attended by about 25 people who are contributing to building a stronger relationship between Japan and Knoxville, including Knoxville City Mayor Indya Kincannon and Dr. Donde Plowman, Chancellor of the University of Tennessee (UT) Knoxville. Attendees also toured the Japanese Garden with the guidance of Salvage Garden Owner Mr. Bill Speech and the gardener for the Savage Garden, Mrs. Terumi Watson.
