On September 16th, the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, New York(SMBC)held an online business seminar focused on the " U.S. Economy and Market Outlook for the next year and beyond", for the benefit of Japanese company representatives in the United States.
After Consul-General Fukushima and Managing Director Uchida offered opening remarks, an economist from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, New York(SMBC)made a presentation.
The presentation by Ms. Junko Nishioka, offered a detailed, data-based analysis about the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, spread of the delta variant and international aspects of current and future economic trends in the US consumer, labor, and financial markets.
About 60 people joined this seminar.
