Consul-General Fukushima meets with Hot Springs-Hanamaki Sister City Program officials

On October 13th, Consul General FUKUSHIMA Kayoko visited the city of Hot Springs in Arkansas and met with Hot Springs-Hanamaki Sister City Program affiliated parties. At a welcome reception hosted by Ms. Mary Zunick, Honorary Consul of Hot Springs, 13 persons affiliated attended and expressed their gratitude for the sister city relationship and expectations for the further strengthening of their relations. Consul-General Fukushima expressed her appreciation to everyone who worked hard to maintain the sister city relationship and said that their activities contribute toward strengthening relations between Japan and the United States. As the Consulate-General of Japan, we offer our best wishes to both cities toward the continued growth and betterment of this sister city relationship.
