On Sunday, April 2, the Arkansas Cherry Blossom Festival took place at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The festival was hosted by the Hot Springs Sister City Program (Co-hosted by Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville). Around 2,500 participants enjoyed Japanese culture through various performances and demonstrations including taiko drums, calligraphy, kendo, kimono dress-up, origami, and more. Thank you to all the guests who attended and to everyone who helped put on this event.

We would like to continue to support opportunities that let people feel, touch, and experience Japan through Japanese festivals, school classes, community visits, and lectures. If you have any opportunities for us to contribute in your community, please contact the Information and Culture Section of the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville.
