Business Seminar on April 6, 2023

On April 6th, the Consulate-General of Japan co-hosted a business seminar with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, mainly for Japanese business people in the Nashville area.
After opening remarks by Consul-General Matsumoto and Chamber President Ralph Schultz, Lori Odom, Senior VP at the Chamber, offered an introduction to the Chamber’s organization and activities. Then, Kalee Harryman, Director of Economic Development, gave an overview of economic conditions in the Chamber’s ten-county region of Middle Tennessee. Victor Sanchez, Director of Talent Pipelines, offered the final presentation, discussing Chamber programs and initiatives addressing labor and other market challenges in the region.
A networking reception followed the presentations, allowing Chamber and Japanese business representatives to exchange views on doing business in Middle Tennessee.
