天皇誕生日祝賀レセプションの開催（１２月１０日）Emperor's Birthday Reception held in Nashville, TN (December 10, 2014)
１２月１０日（水）、当館は州政府、企業、大学、日米交流関係者など３０６名の参加を得て、テネシー州ナッシュビルにて天皇誕生日祝賀レセプションを開催しました。
出席者を代表してウィリアム・ハガティ・テネシー州経済開発庁長官より、経済面をはじめ文化交流においても日米関係が発展していくよう協力していきたい旨の挨拶がありました。
また、今回のレセプションでは、会場内において日系企業６社（トヨタ・シャープ・ブラザー工業・ノバコピー（コニカミノルタ）・三菱電機・全日空）が自社製品を紹介するブースを設置しました。

The Consulate-General of Japan held a reception to celebrate the 81st birthday of His Majesty Emperor Akihito in Nashville, Tennessee on December 10. As many as 306 people from various organizations including local governments, businesses, universities, and cultural institutions attended.
Mr. William Hagerty, Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, shared his intentions to cooperate with the Consulate in oeder to further develop economic, cultural exchange and other relations between the two countries.
Also, this year six Japanese companies were invited to come and promote their product with information tables at the reception.
