The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan officially announced the recipients of the Foreign Minister’s Certificate of Commendation on July 16th, 2019. The Consulate-General of Japan is pleased to announce that Ms. Mieko Kikuchi, Board of Directors, Japan America Society of Mississippi and Ms. Lousa R. Mesich, Vice President, Chattanooga Sister Cities for Tono, are awarded with the honor in recognition of its promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and U.S.
