2020 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals

1．What’s New
On November 3rd, 2020, the Government of Japan announced the Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals for their outstanding contributions to their respective areas. The Consulate-General of Japan therefore wishes it to be known that the following recipient shall be conferred with the decoration in recognition of her endeavors. The details of the recipient are as follows.
Ms. Leigh A. Wieland
・Former CEO, Japan-American Society of Tennessee and Former Director of the Tennessee Export Office
Ms. Leigh A. Wieland has been awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” for her contribution to promoting regional exchanges and economic relations between Japan and the United States.
