Consul-General Kato joined Midori-kai at Bowling Green, KY (November 21)

１１月２１日（金）、加藤総領事はケンタッキー州ボーリンググリーン市において、当地日本商工会の役割を果たしている緑会の総会に出席しました。 当日は、最近の米国経済や金融政策、中間選挙後の動向について説明すると共に、地元大学との緊密な協力やインターンシップの実施等を行なうことについて話し合うなど、最近の各企業が抱えている悩み解決に向けた取組について議論を行いました。
On November 21st, Consul-General Kato participated in the conference by of Midorikai, which plays a role as a quasi-Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Consul-General Kato gave a lecture on the current US economy, monetary policies, and political trends following the Mid-Term Congressional Election. The importance of cooperating with local universities and facilitating internships for students as well as the challenges that Japanese companies are recently facing, as well as efforts to resolve them were also discussed.
