１２月１１日（木）、加藤総領事はアーカンソー州マリオン市にて、日野モーターズ・マニュファクチュアリング U.S.A.株式会社（HMM）において行なわれた、（トヨタ自動車のピックアップトラックである）タンドラ用アクスル（車軸）１００万台到達記念式典に出席しました。
当日は、宗宮社長の他、アーカンソー州政府等の地元関係者やトヨタ関係者らが出席し、２００６年に当地でタンドラ用アクスル生産開始以来、累計で１００万台を突破した業績について各祝辞が述べられました。

On December 11th, Consul-General Kato attended a ceremony held by Hino Motors Manufacturing USA in Marion, Arkansas. The ceremony celebrated HMM's achievement of producing one million axles for Toyota's Tundra truck model since 2006. Numerous people, including Arkansas government officials and Toyota executives, participated in the ceremony and praised HMM's business success.
