加藤総領事のＵＡＣＪ株式会社開所記念式典への出席報告（７月２日）Consul–General Kato Participated in the grand opening ceremony of UACJ Corporation first plant in Bowling Green, KY (July 2)

７月２日（水）、加藤総領事はケンタッキー州ボーリンググリーング市にて開催されたＵＡＣＪ株式会社の現地工場開所記念式に出席しました。当日は、ベシア・ケンタッキー州知事他州政府関係者、ブキャナン・ワレン郡長、ウィルカーソン・ボーリンググリーン市長他地元行政関係者、また、UACJ社及び合弁相手であるConstellium社（蘭）、関係日系企業関係者等、多数の参加者が同地に集い、同社の新たな門出を祝いました。
加藤総領事は知事等とともにスピーチを行い、今回、競争相手であるUACJ社とConstellium社が、当地で協力して新たな会社を設立されることとなるが、今後益々自動車用アルミニウムの需要が見込まれる中、当地での成功をお祈りする旨述べました。

On July 2nd, Consul-General Kato participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new local plant being built by UACJ Co., Ltd in Bowling Green, KY. Representatives of UACJ and its joint venture partner, Constellium, as well as representatives of related businesses, gathered to celebrate the new project. Also in attendance were Governor Beshear and other elected state and local officials, including Mayor Wilkerson and Judge Executive Buchanon. Consul-General Kato and the Governor addressed the crowd, wishing both UACJ and Constellium a long and successful partnership. By working together to establish this new joint venture they will help Kentucky to meet the increasing demand for automotive aluminum.
